I am a Grade 12 student at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School. I enjoy taking courses in Communication's Technology and Photography. I am part of the Specialist High Skills Major, Red Seal Program in Communications Technology available at my school. This program matches my skills in the field of Technology and Visual Art with courses I can take in order to complete my high school diploma. At the end of my high school career, I will have fulfilled the needed requirements for the Red-Seal Diploma in the SHSM program and use that achievement to further my studies in this field.
Once finished high school,I plan to attend college to expand my knowledge and find a career in sports broadcasting. My interests are creative photography, video producing, outdoor activities and playing sports. I am inspired by the work of Communications Technology teacher, John Esford, OHL Director, David Pinkerton and the production crew of Sports Centre on TSN. My Blog will display my passion in Photography, and Video production.

This is one part of a video which is shown to the Graduating Grade 8's in the area to show them what Holy Cross is all about. This video was filmed using a Panasonic AVC 3CCD camera and edited in Final Cut Pro V7. I was one of 3 out of my group who worked on this project. I was the Camera man, I filmed the interviews on blue screen and filmed the back ground shots. Also I edited it in Final Cut Pro.
This introduction was created using Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, and Motion. It will be used as a bump at the beginning of productions by SHSM students.

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
LIGHT PAINTING
This photo was captured using a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 60mm F-2.8 lens. I used a long exposure, and I tied each LED stick to a string and swung them around in a circle. This photo was part of a Commercial Photography Unit in my Yearbook Class.
This photo was captured using a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 60mm F-2.8 lens. Using a 30 second exposure, I used LED flashlights to create the swirl effect around the bottle, along with using a light to make the 'glowing' effect through the bottle.
LONG EXPOSURE OUTDOOR
Using a Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 80-200mm F-2.8 Lens, I was able to capture multiple cars passing over the bridge late at night, along with the staring effect on the street lights. This was using a 15 second exposure.
Using a Nikon 18-70mm Wide Angle F-3.5 lens mounted on a tripod, I was able to capture a wide angle image of downtown Kingston at Night. This photo was part of my Kingston at Night Album.
Using a Nikon 18-70mm Wide Angle F-3.5 lens mounted on a tripod, I captured an image of Kingston Down Town Core at night from Hotel Dieu Hospital Parking lot. Using this long of an exposure allowed me to capture a well-lit foreground, along with a balanced background.
Using a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 60mm F-2.8 lens, I set the camera to a 30 Second Exposure and the image turned out very well with many cars passing along with construction vehicles as well. The lens I used along with a high F-stop allowed me to capture a crisp, focused image from front to back.
For this image, I used a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 60mm F-2.8 lens. A long exposure allowed me to capture a car making a turn, along with a well decorated background. The UV filter attached to my lens assisted in the star effect on the traffic light.
This image is a 4 minute exposure using a Nikon D200 with a Nikkor 60mm F-2.8 lens. This image captures 3 cars, and a 18 wheeler transport as the climb and descend the bridge. The lighting on the road by the cars captures the bridges character, texture and age.

GRAPHIC DESIGN
DIGITAL PHOTO ART
This photo art image was edited using Adobe Photoshop CS3. The meaning behind this image is to create a path of normality. The black and white represents normal life, while the colored pathway and writing that leads up to the garden entrance represents the secrets and the depth that things may have.
PERSONAL LOGO
This logo was created using Adobe Illustrator CS3. Big Toe creates a memory in the consumers mind. It stands out over the other production companies because of its strange, unique name. Also the clip art camera displays the types of services that are offered by Big Toe Productions.
